When Too much is Almost Enough. Big Cubes from R&R Cycles.

They say you can’t beat cubic inches. So why not go all the way with a complete 155 cubic inch V-Twin says R&R Cycles. Built completely in-house, this Billet Beast combines R&R’s own 4.625 inch flywheel assembly with a pair of 4.60 inch billet cylinders bolted to a set of billet crankcases.

If however, what you want is big cubes that will fit into most stock frames, R&R offers two, complete, twin-cam style big-blocks: a 131 and a 124. Like the 155, these engines are built in-house, including the welded and dynamic balanced flywheel assembly. The 131 comes with 4-3/8 inch stroke and 4-3/8 inch bore; while the 124 combines a 4-5/8 inch stroke with a 4-1/8 inch bore.

Torque and horsepower figures will depend on the customer’s preference in cams, compression and exhaust. For more information call R&R Cycles at 603 605 1488.

Very true. There’s no replacement for displacement. Also, a bigger, mildly built motor will typically perform as well or better than a really hot rodded smaller motor and it will usually have better road manners as well.

Viper motorcycle company built a short stroke 152 cu inch all billet engine that was built by Ilmor, and THAT was a torque monster.
