If you have to ask, you can’t afford it.

How are they doing it right, there doing what every other major manufacturer is doing, at a premium, 370 bucks for a solo seat and look at the other prices, 200 for a luggage rack not including the sissy bar, if another American manufacturer was advertising this everybody would be chiming in on how there a ripoff.

Options…right out of the HD play book. Nice to have choices; Metrics would never be consistent enough year to year to develop many choices other than buy a new bike (compared to HD) Lets see how Polaris does in that respect…

Pat H. You are absolutely correct. In fact, I wrote a similar reply yesterday, which did not post (not unusual on this site). The Harley haters go nuts when the moco introduces new options. They are silent when Indian does it. Hypocritical…

I look at that 1920 Solo Saddle and they missed the boat as far as accessories sales go. That stupid-looking “1920” seat should have been the stock one. Then they could have sold the stock one as a $400 accessory and the only person NOT standing in line to get one would’ve been Stevie Wonder.
Love the retro speedometer, though-they should all come with that one.

Accessories form the factory have always been more expensive
Give the aftermarket a minute & I’m sure there will be similar / duplicate
    parts that are less costly.
The very fact that there are parts available
shows that Indian is going to be a “player” for quite some time
(Also I’d wait for the less costly version of the chick too !!! LOL !!!!)

The front fender would look better if it didn’t have that “flip”
at the rear like the Japanese bikes do.

Roscoe: Where do you think the Japanese bike they got it from? 😉

  11. 11 Matt. W Nov 28th, 2015 at 7:38 pm

richards: Give it time. If/when there is a plethora of competitively priced 3rd party aftermarket parts for current Indian bikes then you may start to hear more grousing at the price of factory parts.

Triumph are going to win that market segment away from Ducati, Indian and HD ………………

Great accesories, the one seated on the bike is the most. Such a beautifull girl.
